Casual Youth Educator – Taranaki

RespectEd Aotearoa is seeking enthusiastic group facilitators to join our education team on a casual contracting basis. The applicant would join our vibrant team of youth educators who deliver our sexual violence primary prevention programmes. This casual contract role will be contracted according to demand for programmes, therefore the number of hours per week varies greatly and requires flexibility. Ideally, we are looking for people available between 9-3pm on weekdays in school term time and wanting to teach approx. 10 hours a week or more.  All teaching material and training is provided.  A  valid full or restricted clean driver’s license is essential, this role offers an opportunity to work in the Taranaki region.

The successful applicant will receive regular supervision and comprehensive training to deliver our programmes. They will be expected to achieve and maintain the required accreditations and must-have skills and experience to work adaptably with diverse groups of young people. This role reports to the Central Programme Co-Ordinator.
